Thank you for taking the time to check out our website!

We created this site as a way to keep our family and friends up to date on the progress of our adoption of an Ethiopian child.  Our initial plans were to finish our adoption and establish Project Adoption as a non-profit organization.  We wanted Project Adoption to become an establishment that encouraged adoption as a primary means of building a family and provided necessary financial support for families who had chosen to do so. 

We brought our twins, Ben and Desi, home from Ethiopia in November 2006.  Unfortunately our plan to establish Project Adoption as a non-profit has been put on hold, due mainly to a new job for Eric that resulted in a transatlantic relocation for our newly enlarged family.

In the pages of this site, you'll find information on our process, photos of our family, and lots of extra and interesting information about adoption and Ethiopia.  We are no longer updating this site regularly, but we know that the tale of one family's process can sometimes provide much-needed tidbits and reassurance to another family in the process.
